Nex-Tech Engages Rural Economic Developers Across the U.S.
The Nex-Tech Economic Development team recently invested 3 days networking, sharing ideas, and learning industry best practices in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The National Rural Economic Developers Association (NREDA) focuses exclusively on the advancement of rural communities and the professional growth of rural economic developers across the country. At the NREDA Conference, the Nex-Tech team was involved in conversations ranging from rural markets to rural partnerships, rural broadband to rural site selection, rural entrepreneurship, and building a credible and influential rural leadership brand. Nex-Tech will now be represented on the Rural Issues Committee of the NREDA, which is responsible for monitoring federal legislation that may have an impact on economic development in rural America. We will continue to support NREDA priorities and advance the priorities of western Kansas through the NREDA. On behalf of the communities we serve, we will continue to be at the table on rural conversations, and we will continue to import/export unique perspectives into/from western Kansas.
We look forward to NREDA 2024 Conference in Omaha, Nebraska.
