Nex-Tech Congratulates the City of Russell on Clinching National Excellence in Reliability Award
- Out of more than 2,000 public utilities honored nationwide, the City of Russell Electric Utility was 1 of 7 recipients in Kansas.
- Russell’s Electric Utility is in the top 25% of all utilities in the U.S. for the System Average Interruption Duration Index, qualifying for the 2023 Certificate of Excellence in Reliability.
The American Public Power Association (APPA) has recognized the City of Russell Electric Utility with a “Certificate of Excellence in Reliability” for achieving exceptional reliability in 2023. Nex-Tech extends heartfelt congratulations to the city and people of Russell, KS, for this significant recognition. Our Community Engagement Specialist, Friday Otuya, was at the award presentation ceremony in Russell, where he engaged with Mayor Jim Cross, City Administrator Jon Quinday, the City Council, and other community stakeholders. Nex-Tech has been serving the City of Russell for decades. We believe in the opportunities that abound in the Russell area and know that its best days still lie ahead.
