OPI Wireless Customer
Email Service Configuration and Policy Changes:

Beginning the morning of Tuesday, November 29th, and continuing throughout the week we will be making changes to the policies and configuration of our email services. These changes will not only help deter the delivery of Spam and Virus-infected emails to your account, but will also provide a regularly scheduled maintenance of inactive or stagnant accounts on the system.

Please note that once these new policies and procedures are in place, you will need to make configuration changes to your email client. If these changes are not made on or before the morning of November 29th, you will be unable to send email.

If you have any questions about the upcoming upgrades or questions regarding changes needing to be made to your email client, please call our Internet Help Desk at 1-888-565-3200. Our operating hours are Monday through Friday 8am – 11pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am – 6pm.

Please click on the link below for specifics regarding the following changes:

The Outgoing/SMTP Mail Server will need to be changed to smtp.opiwireless.com, your Account Name will need to be your full email address, and the final change is to require your Outgoing Mail Server to use authentication (Note: Secure Password Authentication is not used).

If you have an email address that is not a opiwireless.com address, and those customers with custom domains, please use your domain where applicable in the instructions we have provided.
